Gillis Harry Kute arrested ingesting 82 wraps of cocaine

Gillis Harry Kute was also arrested on March 1, 2008 for ingesting 82 wraps of cocaine weighing 1.468 kilogrammes. His arrest took place at about 8.30pm during the boarding of passengers on Turkish airline to Turkey. Gillis told officers that his sponsors told him that what he ingested was gold. “This na my first time to see cocaine. The man tell me say na gold,” he said, adding that he was promised the sum of 3,000 dollars for a safe delivery. Gillis is from Udi in Nkanu Local Government Area of Enugu State
