Joseph John Mansour thought he had a special relationship with Tony Mokbel, and could not break away from his influence.


Joseph John Mansour pleaded guilty to six charges including trafficking a large commercial quantity of methamphetamines.The Supreme Court heard he was involved with a drug-trafficking syndicate known as The Company, that sent hundreds of thousands of dollars to Mokbel, before his arrest in Greece two years ago.
In sentencing, Justice Betty King said the turnover of The Company was more than $4-million and the profits enabled Mokbel to maintain his life on the run in relative comfort. She told the Court, the accused thought he had a special relationship with Mokbel, and could not break away from his influence. Mansour will serve a non-parole period of seven years.
