Semyon Mogilevich has appeared before Moscow City Court asking to be freed on bail. The man is reported to have a number of aliass and to be a prominent figure in organised crime.Semion Mogilevich is wanted in several countries, including the U.S., on charges of fraud and money laundering.
Russian police arrested him on charges of tax evasion along with Vladimir Nekrasov, the owner of Arbat Prestige, a Russian cosmetics chain.
