Pfingsten Thomas (45),

Pfingsten Thomas (45), a national of the Republic of Ireland, had been living at Panaji in Goa for the past two years.
Passengers and railway users at platform number one of the railway station were suspicious of the inebriated man, and noticing a strange smell emanating from his baggage, intimated the police.
Upon a search of Thomas' luggage, the railway police recovered one kg of hashish, an air pistol, a sharp 'khukri', a scale used for measuring weights, a mobile phone and his Irish passport.
The total value of goods recovered from him is approximately Rs 50,000. Thomas was immediately arrested by the railway police and questioned by a team of officers, led by police inspector Narasingh Bhosale.
