27-year-old Bahraini pleaded guilty to the charges of obtaining, possessing and selling the drugs, using his house as a warehouse.
The sentence was passed by the High Criminal Court, which acquitted two other Bahrainis who were said to be supplying the drugs.

Officers arrested him in April following a tip-off as he was driving and discovered hashish under his car seat, as well as a scalpel with traces of the drug on his door compartment.
